EarthBites partnered with the PAC, principal, teachers and students to transform their gravel field to a schools garden with raised beds and an orchard areas.

 

Every year the EarthBites team:

Deliver five nutrition and garden modules a year to 500 students

Host two garden feasts a year preparing a meal with students from ingredients harvested from the garden for 500 students

Host three pocket markets a year, selling garden produce, nutritious after school snacks & eco-crafts. This is led by intermediate students and raises funds to buy soil and seeds to maintain the garden.

EarthBites was hired by the PAC and teachers to manage their newly built garden and ensure all students were involved in growing and harvesting food from the garden.

EarthBites paterned with PAC and Principalto support teachers and students in using the school garden to learn how to grow food and to also expand their school garden. Today each division manages their own school garden bed and choose their garden theme such as growing a Spring Smoothie or a Spring Salad.
